Entering the Electric Vehicles segment, Darwin Platform Group of Companies (DGPC) has launched 3 great electric scooters in India with great looks and good battery range. Darwin EVAT has introduced a range of 3 electric scooters namely D-5, D-7 and D-14 in the Indian market and it was launched by renowned boxer MC Mary Kom. The company claims that they can be driven from 70 km to 120 km on a single charge.

All three electric scooter models of Darwin EVat have been launched in India in a price range of Rs 68,000 and Rs 77000 to Rs 86,000. These are completely made in India scooters. The company will invest Rs 450 crore and set up a manufacturing plant in Delhi-NCR for the production of these electric scooters. These electric scooters from Darwin will compete with other budget electric scooters including Hero Electric, Komaki, Avon.

Talking about the look and features of Darwin EVat D5, D7 and D14 electric scooters, its design is quite muscular. It will get keyless entry, regenerative braking, speed control gear, battery swapping, large LCD display, USB mobile charger port, hazard switch and high quality suspension, among many other features.
