Pradeep Guha, who produced many films like ‘Fiza’, ‘Mission Kashmir’ and ‘Phir Kabhi’, passed away on Saturday. He was very ill and was admitted to the ICU of Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. He was put on ventilator on Friday morning. Pradeep Guha was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer (stage 4) three weeks ago.
Earlier Pradeep Guha was being treated by specialist doctors in Mumbai, who also consulted with counterparts in Sloan Kettering, New York. His condition deteriorated rapidly as the disease progressed. Doctors had told that for him the next 48-72 hours are important for his condition.
Pradeep Guha is survived by his wife Papiya and son Sanket. His wife and son always accompanied him during his treatment in the hospital. On the death of Pradeep Guha, all the celebs including Subhash Ghai are expressing grief on social media.
Pradeep Guha worked with our partner Times of India Group for nearly 3 decades and was the President. After this, in the year 2005, he worked as CEO in Zee Telefilms. Recently Pradeep Guha took over as MD at 9X Media.
