Aloo Chaat Recipe: On hearing the name of Aloo Chaat, water comes in the mouth of many people. Every other person likes Aloo Chaat. Especially children like potato chaat as street food. The crowd of people at the roadside aloo chaat stalls clearly shows the preference of the people regarding this. Aloo Chaat of Old Delhi is considered very famous. There are many people who like potato chaat very much but they avoid eating potato chaat in the market in view of hygiene. If you are also one of them, then we are going to tell you an easy way to make Aloo Chaat, with the help of which you can prepare delicious Aloo Chaat at home.
Aloo Chaat is one such snack that you can easily prepare at any time. It gets ready in few minutes. Whether you are slightly hungry or you can use them as a snack during evening tea.

Ingredients for Aloo Chaat

To make Chaat –
Boiled potatoes – 3
Onion chopped – 1
tamarind chutney – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 pinch
Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
Black salt – 1 pinch
Black pepper – 1 pinch
Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
Red chili – 1/2 tsp
Oil

To make chutney-
Green coriander – 1 cup
Black salt – 1/2 tsp
Green chili chopped – 1
Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp

How to make Potato Chaat
To make Aloo Chaat, first we prepare the chutney. For this, first take green coriander and wash it and clean it. After this, put green coriander in a jar, then put green chili and black salt in it. Mix all well and then grind them with the help of mixer. Now add lemon juice to this chutney and mix it well. This will help in giving a slight sour taste to the chutney.

Now to make chaat, first cut boiled potatoes into pieces. Now take a wok and put oil in it and heat it. When the oil is hot enough, then fry the potato pieces in it. Fry the potatoes until their color turns golden brown. After this take out the potatoes in a bowl. Now add red chili, black pepper, cumin powder, black salt and chaat masala to the fried potatoes and mix well. Add chopped onion and the juice of half a lemon over it and mix it well.

Now put green chutney and tamarind chutney over the potato chaat and mix this mixture well. In this way your delicious Aloo Chaat is ready. Take it out in a sugar plate or a plastic bowl and serve it garnished with onions, green coriander.
