Ingredients to make Sweet Flour Mathri

Wheat flour – half cup
Rava semolina – 1/4 cup
Ghee – 1/4 cup
Sugar – 1/4 cup
oil for frying
a quarter cup of water

How to make Sweet Flour Mathri

First, heat one-fourth cup of water and sugar in a pan. When sugar dissolves in water, switch off the gas and let the water cool down a bit. After this, take out the flour in a big bowl and now put semolina, ghee in it. Mix all these well. Now prepare a hard dough by adding sugar water to the flour. Keep this kneaded dough covered for 15-20 minutes and the dough will be set and ready. Now mash the dough well and make it smooth. Make small balls out of this prepared dough, place them on the palm and press with the other hand, prepare mathris (Mathri can also be increased by rolling it with a rolling pin), about 20-22 mathris of this kneaded dough Will be ready.

Put ghee in the pan and keep it for heating, when the ghee is hot, put these mathris in the ghee and fry them by turning them till they become golden brown. Fry these mathris on low medium flame only. Take out the fried mathris in a plate. Similarly fry all the remaining mathris and take them out. Sweet dough mathri is ready. You serve it. You can also store it if you want.
