Poppy seeds – 100 grams
Sugar – 100 grams
Milk – 1 cup
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Almonds chopped – 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts chopped – 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp

How to make Poppy Seed Pudding
Poppy seeds pudding is considered very beneficial for health. To make this, first of all take poppy seeds and after cleaning it, keep it soaked in water for overnight. Before making the pudding, take out the soaked poppy seeds from the water and grind them finely with the help of a mixer. When the poppy seeds are crushed, add water according to the need. Now take a wok and put ghee in it and heat it. When the ghee melts completely, put poppy seeds in it and let it roast. Fry the poppy seeds till its color turns golden.

Now add milk and sugar to the poppy seeds and let it cook while stirring continuously till it becomes thick. There will come a time during cooking when the poppy seed pudding will start leaving the ghee. At that time, add chopped cashews, almonds and cardamom powder to the halwa. Now mix all these well with the halwa. Now let the halwa cook well for about 2-3 minutes. Now your poppy seed pudding is ready. Serve it hot to eat.
