New Delhi
Former Union Minister and Congress MP from Anandpur Sahib Manish Tewari has criticized the then Manmohan Singh government during the Mumbai attack in his book. Tiwari has written that India’s not taking strict action against Pakistan after the 26/11 attack was a sign of weakness.

Meanwhile, BJP has hit out at Congress over Tiwari’s book, saying that this book has proved that the UPA government had put national security at stake and it should be taken on the issue of national security for the integrity of India. There was no worry. BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that the whole country knew this truth of the Congress government.

The BJP alleged that instead of taking strict action against Pakistan, the then Congress government was trying to prove the theory of Hindu terrorism by playing politics against the BJP.

It is worth mentioning that in Tiwari’s book ’10 Flash Points, 20 Years’, Tiwari has mentioned about the major national challenges that India has faced during the last 20 years. Tiwari has written in the book that if a country (Pakistan) has no remorse for killing innocent people, then restraint is not a sign of strength but a sign of weakness. In the book, he compared the Mumbai attack to 9/11. He has written that India should give a befitting reply to this incident.
