A video of Indian fast bowler Deepak Chahar is going viral. He talks to his sister while fielding in the first match of the T20I series against New Zealand in Jaipur on Wednesday.
Jaipur is also the home ground of Chahar. This was his first match for India at this ground. Family members also came to see him playing on the field.
Chahar was fielding in the outfield in the first innings of the match. During this, Chahar got a chance to talk to his sister Malti. Malti was watching the match sitting in the stand. Malti offered a glimpse of it on her Instagram. He shared a video with which he captioned – ‘Today is my fan movement. I always wanted to do this.’
However, the match was not very good for Deepak. He proved to be the most expensive bowler in the match. Deepak conceded 42 runs in four overs and got just one wicket. He would like to improve his performance in the second match.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma, however, praised the bowlers for restricting New Zealand to 164. At one point of time, it seemed that the Kiwi team would achieve a score of 180. Rohit especially praised Ashwin, who not only took wickets but also put brakes on the run-rate in the middle overs.
