Public Wi-Fi service is already available at 50 metro stations of Delhi Metro’s Blue Line and Airport Express Line. Now there is a good news for the students of North Campus of Delhi University. Delhi Metro is now giving a gift to the students commuting from the North Campus. This is a gift. There is free Wi-Fi service on the Yellow Line. Delhi Metro has started free high-speed WiFi service at all Metro stations of the Yellow Line from Sunday.

Delhi Metro Yellow Line consists of 37 metro stations from HUDA City Center to Samaypur Badli. The Yellow Line is a metro running through the most congested parts of Delhi to Gurugram and it runs mostly underground. Delhi Metro has installed more than 330 access points at these 37 stations for high speed Wi-Fi.

The Yellow Line also includes the North Campus of Delhi University and this metro connects Outer, North, Central and Central Delhi with Gurugram. From all these places, students use Metro to go to the North Campus. For the convenience of these students, high-speed free Wi-Fi service has now been started on the Yellow Line.

With the introduction of high-speed Wi-Fi service at all Yellow Line stations, free Wi-Fi is now available at 94 stations on the Delhi Metro network. Delhi Metro’s free Wi-Fi service is being provided by a consortium led by Techno Sat Com. Now Delhi Metro aims to introduce free Wi-Fi inside metro trains. But there are many challenges in this project.

• Passengers need to log in to the network ID “OUI DMRC FREE Wi-Fi” to use this service.
• After selecting “OUI DMRC FREE Wi-Fi” enter phone number and email id,
• When OTP is received, enter OTP. Then accept the Terms and Conditions and then tap on the Connect button.

However, users should be wary of using public networks as public networks are not always secure.
