Scientists told that the closer the interior of this icy rock comes to the Sun, the hotter it gets. First it emits blue dust, then yellow or white and finally green.

This comet may break close to Earth
The green tail means this comet is very hot. It has a lot of cyanide and diatomic carbon and is equally likely to break down. Unfortunately, it will be very difficult for skywatchers in the UK to see Leonard. In the rest of the world, this comet can be seen with bright light in the sky for several days after December 10.

This comet is expected to be at its brightest in late December. Leonard Comet was discovered by astronomer Gregory J. Leonard on January 3 from the Mount Lemmon Infrared Observatory in Arizona. It was earlier listed as C/2021 AI.
